Acharya Jagadish Chandra Bose Indian Botanic Garden

Indian Botanic Garden, Founded in 1786 is situated in Shibpur, Howrah near Kolkata. The garden exhibit a wide variety of rare plants and a total
collection of over 12,000 specimens spread over 109 hectares. It is famous for the Great Banyan, an enormous banyan tree which is the largest tree in the world. (Circumference 330 mtrs.)
